TORONTO-Toshiba Corp., a company that claims to spend $7 million a day on research and development, has unveiled three new lines of notebook computers.
Toshiba of Canada Ltd. says its T1960 series is one of the first "entry-level" notebooks to be based on the SL Enhanced Intel 486 DX2 microprocessor with a built-in math co-processor. The clock speed is 50 MHz.
Features of the T1960CT, priced at $5,249, include a 320-MB hard disk drive...
