The neat BenQ 2120 projector can be used anywhere to give presentations, says Dr Neil Paul
I give a surprising number of talks to a variety of audiences. No longer do I use overhead projectors, coloured pens and acetate sheets. Now I use PowerPoint with all its coloured backgrounds and text flying in from the side.
Most venues have projection facilities, and if they don't, often reps can get hold of them. However, for some time I have thought about buying one of my own to take with me rather than relying on others.
My ideal projector would have a variety of features. It would need to be portable, easy to use, produce a good bright image, and be affordable. It would also be good if, as well as working with my computer for work, it could work with a DVD player and show movies.
So I leapt at the chance of trying out a BenQ PB2120 projector, which seems to fulfil most of my criteria.
The BenQ 2120 has been designed for the travelling presenter. It has a magnesium alloy case, which is a lot tougher than the usual plastic, and a recessed lens with an attached lens...
