Gelling with Cuprofen
Seton has extended its Cuprofen range with a 5 per cent Ibuprofen Gel. Indicated for the relief of rheumatic pain, muscular aches and pains and strains and sprains, the gel retails in 30g and 50g presentations, rsps #3.19 and #4.49 respectively.
Getting in on NSAIDs
Ralgex is also joining the NSAID fixture with the launch of Ralgex Ibuprofen Gel. Containing 5 per cent ibuprofen, the gel is indicated for relief of rheumatic pain, muscular aches and pains and strains and sprains. The gel joins the current range of Heat Cream (40g and 100g), Heat and Freeze Spray and Stick and retails at #3.65 for 30g.
Deep pain relief
The Mentholatum Company offers a range of topical analgesic products, including Deep Freeze Spray and Gel, Deep Heat Rub, Maximum, Spray, Patches, Tonic and a Massage Liniment. The company also offers a Deep Relief Ibuprofen Gel in 30g, 50g and 100g tubes, and a 50g non-CFC pump dispenser.
Sankyo's motivation
Sankyo Pharma has employed the services of TV fitness guru Mr Motivator to promote understanding of, and self-medication among, arthritis sufferers.He spearheads the 'Action against arthritis' campaign, which includes videos, cassettes and booklets, outlining treatment options. Sankyo's Movelat Relief range has recently been repackaged, and extended with an 80g size. The new packs can be merchandised horizontally or vertically. Cream or gel formulations retail at #4.40 (40g) and #6.99 (80g).
