Abstract

The Netopia R3100 ISDN Router is reviewed. The R3100 is one of the easiest to set up and use. Additionally, its modular architecture makes it simple to upgrade to DSL or Frame Relay. Netopia also offers an optional analog dial-in kit for connecting to a LAN by modem. It is a first rate performer that showed outstanding performance in both raw throughput and simultaneous transfers to multiple machines.
