Abstract

This essay offers an analysis of the phantoms that appear in several plays by Itziar Pascual ( Fuga , El domador de sombras, Blue Mountain, La paz del crepúsculo, Père Lachaise, Despedida, Mascando ortigas y Variaciones sobre Rosa Parks ). There is a relationship between the presence of these spectral characters in theatre, the recovery of memory and the construction of personal and collective identity.

Este ensayo ofrece un análisis de los personajes fantasmales y las sombras que aparecen en varias obras de Itziar Pascual ( Fuga , El domador de sombras, Blue Mountain, La paz del crepúsculo, Père Lachaise, Despedida, Mascando ortigas y Variaciones sobre Rosa Parks ), en las que se observa la estrecha relación que guarda la introducción de espectros con la reivindicación de la memoria y la indagación en la identidad tanto individual como colectiva.
