ABSTRACT
In India, the word sexual harassment is used as an umbrella term for any harassment be it physical or verbal harassment ('eve teasing' or 'Street harassment'). This study aims to determine the impact eve teasing has on Men and Women in Bangalore, who undergo this experience directly or indirectly. Men too go through sexual harassment on the streets and this study throws light on those issues including women's struggles. The qualitative study was done with 10 participants with the help of semi- structured interview. Thematic analysis was chosen for the analysis of the study.

INTRODUCTION
Sexual harassment according to the Collins English Dictionary can be defined as 'repeated and unwelcome sexual comments, looks, or physical contact at work or any social situation, usually a man's actions that offend a woman'. The fundamental reason for this particular research is that the challenge India is facing currently i.e. facing eve teasing and its effects that it has. There have been a lot of studies regarding eve teasing covering all the major aspects like the perpetrator's to the victim's perspectives, the consequences women face after they experience eve teasing, perhaps the changes they go through in themselves or their perspectives changing. Harassments also have an impact on a person's physical, mental, psychological or emotional self. In fact, there have been studies done covering the psychological impact that harassments have on women and men but there haven't been studies covering what men go through while experiencing eve teasing or witnessing an event like this in India. As the name suggest street harassments happens in the public places with men being around as witnesses. But there isn't any existing literature on what men go through emotionally or psychologically and how it is impacting them. This research aims to study the impact of eve teasing on both men and women and gives them the opportunity to come out in open and talk about the experience they face and helps men to come out in open and talk about the incident and how they have been affected by it.
