ABSTRACT
Job satisfaction has received a great deal of attention among researchers recently on the practical importance and its implication to organizations. Job design and job redesign is one of the crucial predictors that can affect the level of employee's job satisfaction in the organization. Further, no job design or job redesign, can lead to burden in completing too much tasks, repetitiveness, less control over work, extreme working hours, and lack of understanding towards the whole job process. Hence, job rotation, job enlargement, and job enrichment have been strategically emphasized by organizations in enhancing the level of employees' job satisfaction. The objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between job design and job satisfaction among employees SAJ Holdings Sdn. Bhd. Kota Tinggi, Johor. A quantitative analysis study was performed to meet the objectives set. Data was collected through the administration of questionnaire to 136 employees. A 100% response rate was achieved. 136 respondents were selected from a total population of 214 and the respondents were selected based on the simple random sampling technique. The result of the data is interpreted by using Stastistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 23. In order to analyze the data, pearson correlation and regression were employed. From the results obtained, job rotation, job enlargement and job enrichment and job satisfaction revealed statistically significant and positive correlation.

1. INTRODUCTION
One of the key aspects of human resource management practice is the measurement of employee satisfaction. Organizations have to ensure that the workers have high satisfaction level towards their jobs. It is a prerequisite for maintaining greater productivity, quality of service, and responsiveness among employees (Hair et al., 2011). In fact, job design and redesign is one of the main factors that can affect the level of employee's job satisfaction within organization. It indicates that proper job design brings more job satisfaction and vice versa for the employees. Lack of job flexibility, essential challenges, satisfactory recognition, creativity, respect and other motivator's repetitive processes, or a greatly bureaucratic and high controlled power system can cause to employee boredom, lack of motivation, possess bad attitudes and have poor performance.
