Abstract
Due to the small size and the complexity of the effects from the neighboring metropolises, traditional modeling such as the wind flow and dispersion modeling of the air pollution problem in Macau may not be economical or feasible. Investigation on the applicability of an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) for predicting the daily average sulfur dioxide concentration in Macau is carried out.
