In a move that will give Microsoft Windows NT users an enterprise-directory service, Banyan Systems Inc. will announce this week a version of its StreetTalk directory software that supports Windows NT.
StreetTalk Access for Windows NT File and Print gives users access to file and print resources on Windows NT workstations or servers. Users employ a StreetTalk directory with the software, on either a server running Banyan's Vines network operating system, or a version of Enterprise Network Services for Unix, said Shaun Hayes, a product manager for Windows NT products at Banyan Systems, Westborough, Mass.
