SAN JOSE, Calif. Microsoft demonstrated for the first time during its Intranet Strategy Day here last week how network managers running both SNA Server and Internet Information Server can post host-based data on internal or external Web sites.

Administrators can use an Open Database Connectivity driver in SNA Server to reach data on host databases. The IIS tool automatically converts host data into HTML, said Vesa Suomalainen, general manager of SNA Server at Microsoft.
