1 Metropolitan Police 'Roseanne Holland'
Every so often an ad campaign is so brutally honest that it is really difficult to ignore. There is no turning away from the crack-ravaged face of Roseanne Holland in this poster, which shows how drug addiction has destroyed her. The idea and the strapline are perfectly on message and the execution is as good as it is harrowing.

2 The Economist 'Jordan'
Another year, another Economist campaign makes our top ten and picks up a bunch of awards. Pushing forward the concept David Abbott devised 18 years ago, the ads mix the obvious, the irrelevant and the funny. This execution refers to dumbing down and the feeling of superiority one feels when reading the magazine.
