VARs AND SYSTEMS INTEGRATORS are now able to add audio capability to clients' World Wide Web home pages, tapping a sophisticated speech-compression technology from DSP Group Inc.
Audio is the latest multimedia feature to enhance Internet home pages, through a nay software product called TrueSpeech Player, which is being offered by the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company via the Internet.
Resellers can download the software, for free, to bring speech capabilities to customers' home pages, said the company.
The software uses the TrueSpeech compression technology available in Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT, so it is not difficult to integrate the advanced technology, said Yuval Cohen, who is the vice president of business development for DSP Group.
