Claris will be renamed FileMaker Inc. and will retain only the database and Web-authoring products. Apple will assume control of several products, most notably ClarisWorks, the suite that was to be included in this review. With its channel plans in flux, the Test Center withdrew ClarisWorks from the main body of this review. Since the product itself remains viable, a synopsis of results are presented here.
