AFTER LEADING a year-long effort with input from major OEM and application vendors, Intel Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., recently released the final WTX midrange workstation motherboard and chassis specification.
Speaking at the company's developer forum held here last month, Intel executives said the new specifications should result in a simplified design process and reduced development costs for OEMs manufacturing Intel-based workstations.
