IBM is revamping its Americas business partner organization to bring the IBM Global Services channel management team under its purview as of Jan. 1.
IBM also has shifted a key Personal Computing Division (PCD) executive into the business partner group to better incorporate Intelbased systems into the global IBM channel strategy. And the company said next year it will replace the PCD channel field sales reps that it eliminated last year in a cost-cutting move.
