This book covers the many issues that incarcerated women face in prison. The author, Victoria Law, is a writer and photographer. She was briefly in jail herself as a juvenile and had friends who were incarcerated as well. Since 2002, she has helped female prisoners get their writings published in Tenacious: Art and Writings from Women in Prison and in other publications.
