These "Roberts' Rules" are miniature collections of humorous short advice and homilies. About your "ex," for example: "She will ultimately change every single behavior you ever hated. Unfortunately she won't do it until after you're long gone." Yeah. My ex 20 years ago grew a beard only when he moved to San Francisco after I had left him for another. The other, fortunately, was more responsive and humored me by growing a beard within a year. Him I married.
These amusing and sometimes insightful advice books make lighthearted gifts for courtship-challenged friends. But they are not substantial enough for library collections. Instead, librarians...
