Mortgage broker interest in net branching arrangements is on the rise because of a number of well-publicized legal and regulatory issues.
But beyond that, said Kurt Reisig, chief executive of American Pacific Mortgage, a net branch operator, there are a number of reasons originators should make the move.
These reasons, he told attendees at the California Association of Mortgage Brokers annual convention here, include access to a broad book of relationships, superior vendor and lender relationships, and access to value-added services.
