InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage Lending, a division of ABN AMRO, continues to add functionality to its Internet system MOAI (Mortgages On Line At InterFirst) that allows correspondent and broker customers to operate and control all the e-business transactions with InterFirst.
"InterFirst is constantly watching out for new market trends so we can find out where our customers find value in," said first vice president for operations, Tracie Hunter.
She said that InterFirst has been examining the various third- party services used by its customer base and looking into ways how to automate and include it into MOAI.
"Our clients may do everything electronically using MOAI and then stop and go back to using the fax, or send a request to a vendor the old way," she noted. "These are the types of things that we are targeting to see, trying to enrich the database and include as many new sources and services as possible to make the process increasingly easier to the customer."
Currently, InterFirst is looking into optional services that will add value to over 4,500 MOAI users.
