Comparing the Various Breast Cancer Screening Guidelines

Abstract

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women; early detection has been shown to reduce morbidity and mortality risk. Nurse practitioners’ roles are to screen patients for early detection to provide safe care. This article compares the evidence-based screening guidelines for breast cancer.
