MIKE DODDS
Mike Dodds has a fear of heights. As he stands hack from the window of his tenth floor office in a Canary Wharf tower, Dodds says that as long as he keeps a suitable distance, he can enjoy the panoramic view of UK pic below.
Yet scaling the corporateheights of that pantheon of DM, OgilvyOne, has caused him few tremors. Last June, he was app ointed sole managing director of OgilvyOne London, having shared the role with Guy Lambert, now managing director of Ogilvy Advertising.
Since then, Dodds, a history graduate and 10 year veteran of OgilvyOne, has tackled his fair share of challenges. They include ensuring the agency wins local business to match its Ogilvy network driven international tasks and helping to oversee the process, begun in 2005 by Ogilvy UK Group chairman Gary l.eih, of integrating Ogilvy's advertising, DM and digital capabilities. Dodds also has digital media and search hub neo@ogilvy within his remit.
