For several months this year, Vancouver's Armoury Studios played host to supergroup Yes as they recorded and mixed their latest release for Beyond Music, The Ladder. The sessions were produced by the late Bruce Fairbairn, who also owned the studio.
The recent and sudden loss of Fairbairn has transferred the ownership of the Armoury to his wife and children, who continue to run the studio under the able guidance of Sheryl Preston, the studio's manager of seven years. Preston says the family has no plans to sell the Armoury...
