Superbrands forges partnership with Discovery Networks Asia and Synovate.
SUPERBRANDS International recently announced its partnership with
Discovery Networks Asia, the leading real-world media and entertainment
company, and Synovate, a global market research firm. The organizations
will work together to identify and define Asia's most highly regarded
brands.
A two-prong consumer survey will be conducted to research consumers
across Asia. In each market, 1,000 consumers will be researched using
Synovate's Asiabus survey to assess their brand preferences within 15
defined brand categories. About 500 affluent consumers will be interviewed
to assess their choice of Asia's Luxury Brands through "TEST"- The Elite
Superbrand Tracker.
The alliance - established in mid-September - is an additional value-
added undertaking by Superbrands to recognize and reward brands that are
achieving exceptional consumer recognition and celebrate their success.
Peter Jeffery, Superbrands's group managing director, explains:
`Historically, for the last 12 years, across 26 countries, we have had a
