Senior citizen care has been a part of Earl Wade's life since he can remember.
Growing up in North Alabama, Wade says he used to eat breakfast at the 60-bed nursing home his mother owned.
Now Wade is CEO of CRSA, a development, management, marketing and financial services provider for senior housing facilities, and he has enjoyed a long-tenured career in an industry that is focused on caring for others.
CRSA services 37 communities in 19 states and has emerged as a nationally recognized developer and thirdparty manager for senior housing facilities.
Prior to forming CRSA, Wade served as a partner in the Memphis office of Ernst & Whinney, now Ernst & Young, and headed the accounting firm's senior housing consulting practice.
He left Ernst & Whinney and founded the company in 1989, operating it as a wholly owned subsidiary of an Australianbased group of investors. In 1997, the CRSA management team purchased 50% of the company and the remaining 50% is still owned by a group of private investors.
