Oh, to have been a fly on the wall at SEACAP Financial, Inc.'s first shareholders' meeting. Or a sand gnat.
A photo of the meeting finds SEACAP principals and longtime friends Mackie Gober, Bob King and Waldrup Brown suntanned and lounging on beach chairs at dusk in Destin, Fla.
"People ask us where we got the 'SEA' in SEACAP," Gober says. "We all enjoy being at the beach. When the opportunity arrives, we always take walks down there and talk about opportunities to work together."
Last fall, that opportunity arrived when Gober retired as president of National Bank of Commerce.
