Distribution America offers new DACORE for dealers
DES PLAINES, ILL. - If you want to be the best, you might also want to look your best. Distribution America thinks so and is rolling out a new merchandising and signage package, dubbed DACORE, for its 20,000 retail customers.
With annual sales of $2 billion and customers in 50 states including independent pro dealers, home centers and hardware stores, the buying and marketing organization expects DACORE to give businesses an added flair and the necessary means to battle big competition.
"The environment and visual appeal of a retail location is extremely important from the time a customer pulls into the parking lot until they leave with their purchase," said Ron Anderson, director of marketing for Distribution America (DA).
The DACORE program includes solutions for store layout, lighting, shop-ability, product information, signage and color schemes - and it is available on a piece-meal basis. DA says retailers who want to participate in the new program do not necessarily have to give their stores a complete overhaul.
