NEW YORK -- So these eight supermodels all go on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," and Regis says...
It may sound like the start of a silly joke, but in the name of surreal, prime-time humor -- and major charity dollars -- eight current and former Victoria's Secret models spent last Friday taping three episodes of the show's "Supermodel Edition." The first episode will air Nov. 15, right before ABC's Victoria's Secret mega-show.
Even early on, it was clear the day would be a long one. At 9:30 a.m., Kim Alexis, Carol Alt, Bridget Hall, Eva Herzigova, Heidi Klum, Molly Sims, Frederique van der Wal and Veronica Webb sit center-stage, crouched over their game screens and playing practice rounds of Fastest Finger. Their task: Arrange the names of four rock stars in the order of their birth, beginning with the earliest. And the results come back. "Earliest means born first," the show's producer explains.
"That," says Carol Alt, "was such a supermodel moment."
Luckily, every charity the girls play for is guaranteed $32,000, every model will have a turn in the Hot Seat, and they are allowed to cheat to help one another. When a sports question comes up in the practice round, Eva is plainly stumped. "Look to those...
