Pritsker Corporation of Indianapolis, Indiana, has agreed to continue their sponsorship of IIE's Doctoral Dissertation Award. This award recognizes outstanding doctoral research in industrial engineering. The award has been renamed the Pritsker Doctoral Dissertation Award in honor of A. Alan B. Pritsker, Ph.D., founder of Pritsker Corporation, in recognition of his long and outstanding contributions to IE. Pritsker is a fellow of IIE and the 1991 recipient of the Gilbreth Award.
