Abstract

Introduction The power system consists of three main parts: generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy and works at voltage levels ranging from 415 V to 400 KV or greater. To improve this difficulty, overcurrent relays (OCRs) have been commonly used for years as a safety measure in the power system to avoid mal-operation in the power supply.
