Ungo Security products reach retailers now and next month dressed in new packaging and backed by an edgy advertising theme.
The revamped identity is part of a transformation, said Jack DeBiasio, director of product planning since Clarion acquired Ungo two years ago.
"We wanted to freshen up our whole marketing approach," explained DeBiasio. Four-color packaging and a new shape to boxes differentiate the line from the old Ungo, he said.
Ungo shipped its MS1001 earlier this month; the MS3001 is scheduled for June delivery. Both are midprice vehicle security systems and retail for $130 and $180, respectively. Each...
