Reynoldsburg water purification company is making waves by offering a new technology that keeps water pure without the use of chemicals.
The purifying placement of an electrical charge on water used in large commercial cooling applications is expected in the next five years to replace more than half of Chardon Laboratories' client systems currently serviced by chemical purification, says Robert Butt, Chordon's president and chief operating officer.
"We have customers that are always looking for ways to operate more efficiently (and) save money, and because we don't sell drums of chemicals like our competitors, we continually look for ways to conserve chemicals and reduce water consumption," Butt says, noting Chardon sells purification service for a flat fee regardless of the process utilized. "We expect to have accelerated growth because of this technology.
Butt says Chardon has nearly 100 clients using PowerPure,
about 5 percent of its total number of clients.
