A July 2 SBC Columbus Yellow Pages advertising deadline has prompted two feuding Ohio mortgage companies operating under the Jericho Mortgage name to settle their legal dispute.
Under a June 30 settlement, Athens-based Platinum Possessions Ltd., the owner of the Jericho Mortgage name, will move into the Columbus market and operate under that name.
Meanwhile, Columbus-based CFS Mortgage Ltd., a Jericho Mortgage franchisee, will cease operating under the Jericho name Aug. 15 to become Red Brick Mortgage. CFS is owned by Stephen Winkhaus and Tun Barlow,...
