Abstract

Once groundwater is polluted, its quality cannot be reinstated by halting the contaminants from their sources. [...]it is necessary to regularly observe the standard of groundwater and formulate ways to protect it [7] as the quality of water is a critical factor for human health. [...]they are deemed appropriate methods to avoid misinterpretation of environmental monitoring data [20,21]. [...]we apply these techniques to provide descriptive statistics for preliminary information about the water quality. [...]some inaccuracies and ambiguities during decision making, concerning the boundary values are experienced [25]. [...]under such conditions, the quality of groundwater would be particularly important, and it is necessary to assess its quality in the study area due to the linkage between water quality and peoples’ health.
