Abstract

Some scholars argue that it has little impact on reducing the work pressure or improving organizational identification and job satisfaction of expatriates [19]. [...]it needs to be further explored whether career development support can play its due role under the impact of the host country environment for expatriates in Chinese multinational corporations. [...]this research aimed to provide a theoretical reference for successful expatriate by constructing a multilevel moderating model to analyze the impact of career development support on the job adaptation and withdrawal intention of expatriates in the context of their host country. 2. According to Scandura [22], mentors can provide guidance for apprentices from three aspects: career development, social psychology, and role model. [...]the career development support under mentoring is related to money, social status, information, and services. [...]mentoring reflects a special form of social exchange relationship, namely the hierarchical relationship.
