The Northglenn-based Wingman restaurant chain's franchising efforts are taking off.
The restaurant, which specializes in Buffalo-style chicken wings, opened its first Wingman Express franchise in mid-August at the Main Street at Flatlron shopping center in Broomfield. The restaurant's Express version is roughly half the size of its standard, 2,000-squarefoot property, employs about a dozen people and focuses on delivery business.
Wingman Holdings Inc. owners Karl Kigerl and Joe Martin started franchising in 2002, the first franchise restaurant opening last year in Brighton and the second opening early this year in Lakewood, The owners hope to see their third franchise operation up and running...
