Aerie Networks is laying plans to build and operate 20,000 miles of mass-produced broadband networks to 194 cities. When it's complete in three years, Aerie claims it will have 8.9 million miles of fiber - more than any other single network.

Investors include BP Amoco, Buckeye Partners, LP, CMS Energy Corporation, Explorer Pipeline company, Kinder Morgan, Marathon Ashland PipeLine LLC, Sempra Communications and others.
