Abstract

The objective of this paper is to summarise and explain the major patterns and developments which took place in British Public Administration, and which constitute the inheritance of the new Labour Administration. This paper also examines the emerging and actual policies, which Labour, have embarked upon since the election, briefly discussing the way in which these emergent trends may develop over the life of Labour's first Parliament.
