Premiere Radio Networks Inc., a Hollywood-based distributor of radio comedy, entertainment and music programming, has issued 1 million shares of stock at $6 a share and become a publicly held company.
More than 1,300 radio stations nationwide broadcast Premiere's programming, which includes five comedy shows, three mini-features and six music shows. The firm gives programming to radio stations in exchange for extra airtime, which it then sells to advertisers.
