Two more retailers have joined the McDonald's restaurant and the soon-to-be completed Kroger grocery in the Shops of Forest Springs, at the intersection of Factory Lane and La Grange Road near the Gene Snyder Freeway.
A joint KFC and A&W restaurant and a National City Bank of Kentucky Inc. bank branch have signed agreements to locate in the shopping complex, said Brian Thieneman, a partner in Forest Springs IP, the developer of the property.
Each business will locate oil one of the five outlots on the property. McDonald's opened on one of the outlots in December, and the remaining two haven't been developed.
The Shops of Forest Springs is made up of a 78,000square-foot shopping center and the outlots. It is part of an almost 285-acre multi-use development composed of 15 acres of retail, 34 acres of patio homes and apartments, 8 acres of undecided use and 228 acres of single-family homes.
