celebrating 25 years of business 1981 -2006
Today, Trainor Associates, Inc. is composed of five outside salesmen, two inside sales persons, and three warehouse men. They have 10,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space in Noblesville, Indiana (Indianapolis) and stock numerous product lines.
Bill Trainor, founder of Trainor Associates, Inc., has thirty-five years in the fastener industry. He started with Service Supply Co. (Würth/SSC) in 1971. He resigned as sales manager to start his own company in 1981. He knew that he was a good salesman and wanted to stay in the fastener field, so he chose a career as a manufacturers' rep. It was difficult leaving Service Supply Co. Sales were booming, they had three corporate jets, and times were good! However, Bill left to start his new endeavor. He put 100,000 miles on his car the first year and barely covered expenses, but he never regretted his decision.
