REQUEST FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF FILM, MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

The History Department of New York University is planning a large event for 1989 and has asked the Film Department to help with "Images of the French Revolution", pointing especially to changing attitudes in the popular media. Jay Leyda asks for information about films from any country, in any time period, which may be of interest for this project. With the cooperation of the 'Museum of Modern Art, requests will be made at a later date concerning loans for this series.
