In 1976, Dennis L. Steffy and his father, the late Ira G. Steffy, purchased a fourman welding shop that did general repairs and industrial welding. Over the last quarter of a century, Ira G. Steffy & Son Inc. has grown into one of the area's leading structural steel and metal fabricator and erector firms. The Ephrata-based company provides services in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.
