JPL Productions, a Swatara Township-based communications firm, was featured in the March issue of Business 2.0 magazine for its employee-created workspaces. JPL's 88,000-square-foot building includes conference rooms that resemble an old movie theater and a chapel. JPL and its workspace designs will also be featured on a CNN Headline News feature, "Cutting Edge Designs," several times this spring.

Smart Business Advisory and Consulting, an accounting and consulting firm based in Chester County, is opening an office in Strawberry Square in downtown Harrisburg April 24. Between eight and 10 employees will work in the office. The company has 11 other U.S. locations and two international offices.

Philadelphia Insurance Cos. leased an 8,400-square-foot office suite at 4050 Crums Mill Road, Lower Paxton Township. The company offers specialty commercial-line products, including amateur sports, antique automobiles, fitness clubs, hotels and nursing homes. NAI/CIR of Wormleysburg represented the landlord, Triple Crown Corp. of Lower Paxton Township, and NAI/Geis Realty in Philadelphia represented Philadelphia Insurance.

Construction of three new manure-toenergy plants in Lancaster County is expected to begin within several months.
