A Dauphin County pharmacyservices company is searching for more growth opportunities after acquiring three similar companies during the past several months.
Lower Paxton Township-based Continuing Care Rx Inc., which primarily serves the long-term care industry, acquired Utica, N.Y.based Pharmacy Solutions Inc. in early July for an undisclosed price. That purchase follows the firm's acquisition of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based MTM Pharmacy Services Inc. in April and APS Pharmacy Services of Wilkes-Barre in December.
The acquisitions are part of a strategy to expand CCRx's reach in Pennsylvania and other MidAtlantic states, said Peter Ehrich, partner with Thoma Cressey Equity Partners.
