It's a melting pot of products: flower pots, tool boxes, medical equipment, hose reels, cosmetic containers, watchbands, milk crates.
What do they have in common? They are made of plastic by one of the Lehigh Valley's newer manufacturers, Jamison Plastics Inc. of Allentown.
And in some manufacturing circles, Jamison is regarded as the top molder in the United States.
"Jamison is on the forefront of technology as it relates to injection-molding and product equipment," says company President Marc Solda, who just returned from the National Plastics Show in Chicago.
Solda, 32, and grandson of owner Joseph Bonifazio, believes his company's reputation boils down to three crucial elements: equipment, talented people and specialized markets.
"All of our injection-molding equipment is made by the Japanese maker Nissei, the leading manufacturer of such equipment in the world," Solda says.
