Abstract

There is thus, an increasing need for teachers to help their students to learn many social-emotional and self-management skills in the school environment. [...]how students and teachers work together in learning skills is also extremely important in improving the relationships among students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive and collaborative learning community in schools. Teachers asked how, with large class sizes and limited time for individual instruction, they might help more students. [...]Dr. Ben Furman and his colleague Maiju Ahola developed the Skillful-Class method for teachers to help all students to learn social-emotional and self-management skills. According to Vygotsky, the environment in which children grow up will influence how they think and what they think about. [...]each student will choose his or her individual skill to learn from the above-mentioned 22 skills.
