Abstract

INTRODUCTION Neonatal pain is a complex, subjective and multidimensional phenomenon making its assessment a challenge, which is compounded by the impossibility of verbal reporting in this age group(1). [...]behavioral, physiological indicators, endocrine-metabolic changes, contextual and neurophysiological components are important for the multidimensional neonatal pain assessment. To do this, training and qualification of health teams are necessary, in order to offer knowledge and develop skills in assessment performance, depending on the variety of tools available and the different scoring methods™™. [...]Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education are a useful alternative for the teaching of students and training of health professionals, since they facilitate articulation between theory, clinical practice and research.
