Abstract

Global warming has led to the current transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. Recently, the Russia-Ukraine conflict emphasized the importance for this shift, highlighting needs for energy independence and security. In this academic dissertation we show how GreenVolt, being a renewable energy generator, focused on biomass, solar PV, and wind, will be able to crystalize value in light of these favourable macroeconomic conditions. With a unique biomass supply agreement with Altri, the expertise of V-Ridium in solar PV and wind projects, and the great distributed generation potential in Iberia, GreenVolt is poised to build a strong competitive advantage across all segments. The Target Price is derived using a Sum-of-the-Parts, through which we issue a Buy recommendation.
