Abstract
O presente artigo analisa as práticas culturais de quatro professores dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental. Com base na noção bourdieusiana de prática, procura-se compreender as preferências relacionadas com: saídas culturais, consumo cultural, leitura, música, artes plásticas, tv, cinema e escrita; além de aspectos do lazer e da sociabilidade. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semidiretivas de longa duração e apresentados na forma de perfis culturais individuais. As práticas culturais dos professores entrevistados possuem limitações em relação ao acesso por diferentes contextos, como o local de residência, a renda familiar e o desconhecimento ou conhecimento limitado em relação à fruição de algumas práticas.
