Family means a lot to Michael Boulette. Not just because he is the father to three young children, or because he's spent his entire 10-year career litigating complex family law matters, but because for Boulette, family extends to the law students he teaches, the legal community he serves, and children and parents in need across Minnesota.
Boulette, of counsel with Barnes & Thornburg LLP, is this year's recipient of the American Bar Association Family Law Section's 2020 Jean Crowe Pro Bono Award. During 2019 alone, Boulette dedicated 388 hours to pro bono work.
